There has been a lot of talk lately about artificial intelligence (AI) and the increased role it will play in the future of several industries, including healthcare. AI has for a long time been a part of healthcare but with the development of AI chatbots like ChatGPT, the incorporation of AI in everyday life as a routine part of work has taken on new meaning.

Automation of processes, machine learning, and predictive analytics are a few ways in which administrators can take advantage of technology to improve their business and better serve their patients and staff. This also may reduce the workload on individuals who would have to manually input and analyse data, for example.

After being exposed to these youth, I see no reason why Jamaica cannot be among the best of countries like India, China, Japan and the United States, which continuously push new and emerging technology, and have invested heavily in the development of new and efficient ways of conducting business, and improving efficiency in general.
